The ABOMR Annual dues are US$350.00 payable each year by April 15 via the ABOMR ROC-P website. Annual fees provide financial support for various services and fees:
LATE FEE
An announcement and reminder to pay annual dues is sent to each diplomate on February 1 and March 1 to the diplomate’s email provided on the profile page of the diplomate’s dashboard on ROC-P portal. It is the responsibility of the diplomate to maintain an active contact email on their profile page. This fee must be paid by April 15th, 2024 to avoid an additional 50% of the annual dues as a late fee (US$175).
DELINQUENCY
Payment of annual dues is a requirement in maintaining membership in the ABOMR and diplomate status. Any diplomate with unpaid annual dues and/or delinquency fees at the end of each calendar year will be placed on probation status up to one year. If a diplomate does not reconcile to fulfill this requirement within one year, the ABOMR may end membership and diplomate status. Reinstatement would require re-challenging the certifying examination, reconciling all financial obligations, and meeting all recertification requirements.
HISTORY
In the 2010 annual meeting, the diplomates voted to impose the late fee that would be 50% of the annual fee. At the 2013 annual meeting, diplomates voted to increase the annual dues to US$250.00. At the 2023 annual meeting, diplomates voted for an increase to the annual dues to US$350.00.
