Deadline to send in application to confirm ABOMR Part 1 Eligibility
MARCH 15 to APRIL 20, 2024
The Application form and supporting documents must be e-mailed/uploaded and payment must be made between March 15 and April 20, 2024.
Notice of Approval
MAY 1 2024
A notice for approval or need of additional documents will be sent around MAY 1, 2024
Examination Registration
MAY 5 to JUNE 30, 2024
A letter of intent, supporting documents and examination fees must be completed and sent by June 30, 2024.
Last Date to withdraw (with full refund)
JULY 18, 2024
A candidate may withdraw from the certifying examination by sending in a written request to the Secretary/Treasurer 6 weeks prior to Part 1 (JULY 18, 2024) for a full refund.
Schedule a "Virtual" Examination at a Prometric after receiving "Notice of Approval"
The ABOMR Certifying Examination Part 1 will be a virtual remote live examination administered by Prometric ProProctor. After the closing of Examination Part 1 Registration, a candidate will be provided a "Notice of Approval" and be directed on how to contact Prometric as a “test-taker” and schedule the examination.
